The lyrics are a sarcastic response to someone who is against pot... "When you sing lalalalalalala, stoner hate has got your back" means the guy is saying he is right because most people are on his side (which is not a good argument). "California's been invaded by a hippy psychopath, and I'm rude, obnoxious, with an intent to kill" is sarcasm, because people high on weed (including hippies) are generally friendly and calm. The California reference is there because Daron was born and lives in California... has nothing to do with Charles Manson.
