I haven't bought the soundtrack or actually heard this song yet, but having read the books, the lyrics seem to me like they're describing Bella's feelings for Jacob in 'New Moon.' She knows she feels something for him, but she knows it isn't the same thing she felt for Edward, and she isn't sure whether it's just a sisterly affection or love (just not epic love-of-your-life love).
