afi23, I'm sorry if my comment offended you but I do stand by my belief that the media should shoulder the blame amongst other systems and things that occur in this world as to why people choose to turn away from religion and doubt the existence of God and rely upon themselves to determine what is deemed as right and wrong in this world, instead of looking for a divine force or reason to justify their actions or the way they should live their lives.
I think I should clarify on what I meant when I said "Lack of faith syndrome". It wasn't directed towards the "athiesm" doctrine or any theological concept as much as the term "Faith" is linked with christianity oe theism. As an agnostic theist myself, I interpret it as a lack of belief in the emotion HOPE or the feeling of believing in the possibility of a postive outlook on life.
