This song is so incredibly powerful. I think this song is about someone struggling through a breakup. And being
almost at the point of denial but not quite believing it himself. "And we never quite remember, so i'll carve

the breakup. It reminds me of that attitude where you cant even imagine going through the rest of your life
never holding that person again. You know it's over and it kills you, but you still have trouble really
fathoming it's surety. So you do what you can to try and keep it alive. Like using defibrilators a day after
