and jerkjess is right about the 13th step thing. theres also a couple more AA references in there when he says "searching and fearless immoral inventory" which is mocking the step searching and fearless moral inventory. then again when he says "till every person with a story begins to bore me." which is one of the biggest complaints about AA, just how its the same stories over again.
