i'm pretty sure one of the members at one point became a born again christian, springing up a lot of biblical references halfway through their career as a band. i'm not 100% sure about this, or even which member this may have been. i just remember discussing this with my sister some years ago (she was either friends w/ someone in the band or friends of a friend. not sure.) so in short, this may really be about the end of days, and kurosky hoping that his band member may be wrong about it coming.
