I guess, to me at least what the song is saying is that; if you are happy, then that is all that matters. Don't let anyone pressure you into thinking you need to change, someone else asking you to strive for something in which you have no desire to strive for.

yeah, this is what i get out of this song to. and maybe the "this is it" part is telling the person who is trying to make them strive for more that this is all that he is, and he doestn want anymore and wont be any less
