This is one of my favorite songs, I love the intro. I think its about a guy who is physically here, but not emotionally or mentally. I think he is trying to act as if everything is okay on the outside, but on the inside he is torn up. Maybe he is doing something that is not good for him and he is crying out for help. He wants someone to get him out of the cycle he is in. He wants people to notice how torn up he is and he feels scared because he can't confide his problem in anyone. The more he wants to conide in someone, the lonlier he feels because he knows that he can't or that they might not understand him.
