The very first time I heard this song, the lines

stuck out to me because I am a Death Cab For Cutie fan and in one of their songs entitled "What Sarah Said" it contains the lyrics
"And it came to me then
That every plan is a tiny prayer to Father Time
As I stared at my shoes in the ICU". I was just wondering if the plans reference in this song had any coralation to the death cab song. If so, that is awesome.
