I think everyone is overlooking it...its simply trying to put a situation or image lyrically with an appropriate song style...they are obviously doing a parody of adult contemporary music but now they are the adults going to what seemed to me like 'wine and cheese' type of partys...if they had to write an adult contemporary song what would it be about to fit the mood....a classy adult party with 'tri colored pastas...served on platters of the purest gold'....not sure where swingers tie in you dirty people
