In the German version of the song, the first couple of repeats of the chorus say, "Der Schmerz ist schön wie nie," where "wie" means the comparative "like" and "nie" means "never." As for the song itself, it sounds a little creepy in parts, but in a way that I like! I find it very hard to not like Rammstein because even their worst stuff (if there's such a thing) has a lot of things that I like! Speaking of which, in response to SilasMoon89's comment about the sound, it does sound a little unclean at first, but as the song continues, I feel as though the fact that the sound isn't all cleaned up just adds to the song. And yes, this song is quite obviously about S&M.
