Maybe this means he's searching for happpiness?
Or something that will make him satisfied.

Maybe when he goes home, there's nothing. He just feels empty.
"I'd kill for the sun to never rise again"
Maybe he found his happiness, and never wants it to go away.
And for the rest, I have no clue. I'm just looking at these lyrics more optimisticly, so dont hate..
