I personaly think that this is really romantic .. "When you're sad and no one knows it, I'll send you black roses" .. maybe the symbol is too gothic, but it's also a sing of affeion and love .. it's a flower, even though it's black.
The rest of the lyrics .. well, they don't make much sence to me .. and the methaphore about the boat .. xD
I still wonder why The Rasmus have chosen the symbol of a black rose, after they're not so dark, like in "Hide From the Sun", or too funeral-like in "Dead Letters" ??
