Wrong Impression

I just heard this song today and i loved it ...probably because i can relate to it a lot =/ I think it means that they were in a complicated relationship...I think they were friends but never made it to something more because he never let her in and put up walls..." Haven't you wondered What we could've been If you'd only let me in"..they both love each other that's why she repeats it and throughout the chorus she's reassuring him that she still does and will always love him ..that's where the chorus comes in. and in the beginning it seems she probably waited a long time for him to come around because she says "Haven't you wondered Why I'm always alone When you're in my dreams" i think she was tired of waiting so she decided to move on...the part where it goes "Haven't you wondered Why you're finding it hard Just looking at me" makes me think that maybe she is breaking off their friendship..because she needs a break from him and it hurts her but she doesn't want to leave a wrong impression by letting him think she doesn't care..because she does. she just feels that it's important for them to part.... well that's my opinion of the song..and i see it from this point of view because I'm in the same type of situation right now...
