Hey precious, it says right at the beginning of the song that the girlfriend was there first. If you the read the lyrics it says
"When I first met you I knew you were the one
Till you took me home and I met her
She had your boxers on
She was listening to your song"
So that basically states that the girlfriend was there first. I think it would be different if the friend was there first because I have been in a situation like that and it truly sucks.
Both people must take blame, because its not right for the girl to try and step into someone elses relationship, and if he guy is not happy in his current relationship and needs to have "friendship" with other females in a hotel room then he needs to be straight with his girlfriend so she can have the chance to go explore her other options too. Its not a fair deal when someone wants to have their cake and eat it to, and its just rude to try and take attention and time away from another girls man. Breaks the code of woman, and too many girls are disrespectful to eachother lately. If you were not there to begin with, and you have not put in the blood sweat, and tears into the relationship from the get go...then you should not expect to have "magic" with some guy you just met and become friends with.
