The Wto pushes for trade liberalisation meaning a fall in protection, this means that some farmers can't compete on the global market and cant earn a living
Companies like monsanto sell GM seeds at high prices to farmers promising greater yields. Farmers who cant afford it take out debts they cant repay. They also sue thousnads of farmers worldwide for vialation of using the GM crop even if the farmer was unaware they were using it.
i also found out "Is it gonna take a martyr to end this charade?" is refering to lee kyung hae as he was seen as a martyr.
