All he wants to do is spend time with her and be around her as much as possible. But unfortunately for him, this girl doesn't like him as much he likes her. He doesn't want to be the "odd man out", meaning, he wants to be her main man amongst all of the other guys that want her. Its a really great song. Now more than ever I identify with these lyrics. I wish blink had made more albums like their first 3, all of these "high-school themes" seem to have much more impact on my life because they describe my life exactly.
