Wilder Wein Lyrics

Awseome song! Til said in his Live Aus Berlin (DVD) interview that his lyrics are on different levels, 4 or 5 I think he said. Like most Rammstein songs this one is no exception. It's brilliant. The song title is Wild Wine, and references to wine are mentioned a number of times, warm and soft, bitter like snow etc. The song is also about sex - 'beneath your castle I am ready, open the gates, arrival is announced but only for the king' etc. Maybe Til is comparing a good good wine with sex, or maybe (and I can't help but think this), is the wine an allegory for the male bodily fluid? --> 'Bitter like snow'? And then - 'Deep water - you don't cross. But my desire laughs at the wings'. I think with the castle theme this is referring to a damsel not leaving the castle and crossing the moat, but the King doesn't care, he wants this damsel and a certain something very much so he will cross the deep water of the moat, or do anything really to get some. Could this be about rape? Or really just a man's desire to get some action?
