I think this song is about when two people are in a relationship and one person isn't into it. And they know that once they break up the other person will be better off because they deserve better than them. "My love struck story's getting old ".. They cant fake it for very much longer. The girl wants to "wait one more day" and because they guy is putting off the breakup he "lies and says okay".. the last verse pretty much sums it up.. he is saying that he had fun while it lasted but now hes going to run. he knows that she is aware he isnt happy and he knows he hasnt been the best boyfriend and he wants her to pay him for it.
