Personally, this song to me is about a guy having a really good friend of his, and her boyfriend either ignores hers, or starts stupid fights over nothing, and he hates seeing her getting treated like that, and wishes he could tell her boyfriend that he needs to start treating her right, or he will regret it in the future.
