But Pyrokinesis is spot on, the song is about someone who doesnt want to live anymore and the singer is the friend trying to help but to no avail. If you dont believe it, ask the band. Talking backwards simply means it falls on deaf ears, no matter what or how you say it, it just doesnt make a difference. I personally have never viewed the song in the context of a broken heart, but i can see what you guys and girls are talking about. No matter how you view the song, just enjoy it.
