This is one of my favorite songs. Hunter's voice and the simple instrumentation haunt me for days after listening to it. The lyrics are mournful, mysterious, meditative and sly, not ever completely revealing their meaning or level of seriousness. Some people may get a very concrete meaning out of the song, but I prefer to leave it as open-ended and ambiguous as possible.
