the first blondie album i had was "the greatest hits of deborah harry and blondie", which had a really neat design that convinced me that the printed lyrics must be correct as in "official".
it also had the "it's really not true" line, so obviously some intern transscribed the lyrics ... stupid cheapo compliations.
