I feel that this song is about a guy who is gone through alot of relationships and no matter what he does they always end. Though he asks "Why does this shit keep happening to me?" he still keeps trying, no matter what is happening to him, to make it work, as the chorus suggests. All of the verses point to the amount of pain he is in and how it is destroying him. He even goes so far as to say a tormentor is keeping him from suceeding "Object of an evil eye". It seems like he really loves the person he is fighting for and he will continue to fight untill the end be it his (because of how badly he describes the state he is in) or untill he can stay with the girl he love. The Curse is probably refering to another guy that is trying to take away the girl he is trying so hard for.
