I think the first bridge shoud be amended from "it's stunning" to "it's dawning," and "peculiar place" to "peculiar pace."
What is his "older stuff"? The EP? It seems like he's still developing his own style and fighting against his influences... it's a bit like The Postal Service and early New Order meets All-American Rejects.
