"I am too afraid to dig/date you, I can't find a word to speak. If I could, I'd talk so good that you would be with me." Which could imply a more intimate feeling than just sex. Also if you look at Max's interview he had "unrequited love" for someone in high school. But he also said he slept around a lot. I dunno.
