this version is a better then the studio ver cause this is what kurt wanted the lyrics to be and it wasnt good enough for them bastards sub pop so he had to change them
It wasn't Sub Pop, it was DGC. That's part of the issue: they were on a major label, the label didn't like it, so they had to change it.
