Totally digging this song..Can't believe I just now found out about The Exies!
This song def reminds me of my last relationship...pretty sad, actually when I really think about it..I was so young (maturity wise), willing to put up with anything for fear of being alone and losing the person i'd fell (unfortunately) in love with..
"tell me when my time's up, so my hope no longer lingers" it's like 'hey, let me know when you lose your love for me, so I can stop falling deeper and deeper for you and make a fool of myself'
"then say no more" it's like, 'just leave me be. let me deal with this pain i'm going to feel..this pain that'll be unlike anything else I've ever felt before. and stay away as there's no possible way that having you around is going to help matters any'
"I get nervous when you're leaving, so tell me, reassure me" I was always so afraid when my ex would go out. I feared she would cheat on me (turns out my gut-feelings were right on..ha). I never wanted to appear as 'un-trusting', but at the same time, I wanted to be re-assured.
