i agree with nietzsche1899, that this song is about indifference. i think it's a bit chilling really. "i don't hate you or want you or celebrate you.."
for me it makes me think of if someone you don't really care about is in a coma or something, and they are trying to decide to wake them or not. maybe they are saying that now only luck will bring them back.
