I think this song is about depression. Blaming yourself for shit you've caused. Trying to find your way out, without any hope of relief.

"Colorless... stoned, solid grey": the numb, colorless feeling of depression
"Emptiness... of promises I made": the feeling that you can't satisfy everyone, and he's broken some promises I think

"Accusations and denial": I think he's blaming himself too much, and denying his feelings and thoughts
