I get the impression that this is about a relationship that ended because Caleb just wanted to party whilst she wanted more, but now Caleb regrets being so caught up in having a good time and wants her back.
It was Caleb's fault the relationship ended, "even though it was me
who drove us right in the ground", because he was "dreaming of revelry", he didn't really want to get too serious. He only now realises what he had, "the loss of the good thing that i had found" but he carries on partying hard so that he doesn't have to think about it, "so high, i don't want to come down to face the loss"
My opnion anyway =]. One of my favourites off the album, sounds like it'll be amazing live, can't wait to see them in December.
