I believe is saying you cut me down because you want to be like me but your not and you cant deal with it. This is backed by the lyrics,

I think those lyrics are talking about something your passionate about, something so strong it stirs within you. "Watch the city burn" is a tricky one though. Maybe it burns because their ignorance consumes them. Any comments on that?
