the song is pretty obvious imo.
he can't keep up with his partner's standards and they're always screaming at each other because of it.
he "strategizes" how he will make it work better while playing tic tac toe or dominoes.
but he's a wreck trying to keep up with her standards.
and he doesn't know what to do when he's scared they might break up or somethin.. (where do i go segment)
