alright; so the way I see it is this song is about a relationship. He cares ALOT for this girl but she doesn't treat him as well as she once did anymore.
the line "Hello, I love you wont you tell me your name" is a good example of this hes saying that he loves her dearly but she seems like a complete stranger to him now in the next line "Hello, I need you like a bullet to my brain" hes saying that he realizes he doesn't need this girl yet I think he might be talking about mixed feelings? not sure on that one. It kinda seems like after the first chorus they may have broken up? "so low, but still breathing funny how you show you care" the guys obviously depressed I assume from the break up but it might just be from the pain shes been putting him through; he gives her his entire world and she treats him like shit. This is just my perspective a great song from a great band
