Even though I believe that singers sometimes deliberately deceive the audience by mutliple meaning lyrics that its undermeaning refer to several concepts ... yet match the singers emotions ... I believe that is one of the best interpretations I have came accross for this song so far. Thanks 4 sharing.

In a general sense I think Zammy got the song right, But in the specific I have a few ideas to add at the end. I think this is another song about a person (the writer?) saying he has evolvined into a new and improved individua for the girl.
1) Derelict days line- The guy has been partying like a bad boy and the music or party environment keeps going because that crowd continues to party and can't be bothered to see the light and stop. He tells the girl that he can't control that, only his behavior.

2) Tedious weeds: The media infiltrates our brain with poisonous ideals about relationships and tries to tell him that he doesn't have what it takes to get her (why we don't know- too old? too poor? too...). But he stalks his prey and reaches her anyway He is sorry that he felt he really had to go for it to win her in the mode of the bad boy but trust, his heart is pure now. He is changing into the good guy..

3) And now that I'm able to start the relationship, I no longer put you on the pedestal. I see you as you really are warts and all. (Dust = flaws; light would be an ideal perception...) But he's "kind" (girly girl code for the guy won't trade me later for the younger/better model) to disavow your flaws. If you take me, I will stay with you (some girls say this is the line of a player) despite that I now see the other side of you..
Maybe a song about realizing we are all human after all as with other themes on the album maybe we can have a 2nd chance and start again with a blank slate. IN snow he is reminding himself of this, here he is telling the girl of this. Not be the bad boy this time, leave the derelict days behind.... . Also the Church bells were ringing when he first saw her- she was a spiritual experience to him at that point- the ideal. As for Stadium Arcadium- I don't know. Maybe the Stadium is something giant and difficult to manipulate like playing a concert in that environment. Arcadium is something untroubled. Maybe now the Stadium level fear of trying to connect with the girl (which was like trying to connect with the audience at the stadium level) has become "arcadium". Slang for I made a molehill out of a mountain, And now that the stress is off him (Anthony?), he can see her in her true light, dust/warts and all...
Of course, Anthony drops key parts of what he is writing about in the song so we have tand fill in the blanks by guessing. That is one interpretation for me. He has put up his earlier immature sexual ways and is trying to change, do right type of song...
