thats like saying, if you dont want to make the world a better place, then come to mine
also human being not doing means he wants to enjoy life for what it is, not just do stuff and do stuff till he croaks
and by the lie he refers to, hes refering to the lies that some people befall, like racism, hate, and unforgivingness.
by doing this he is targeting the causes for bad stuff, not stopping the bad stuff themselves from happening
for example, to stop a waterfall, he would be redirecting the water up stream, as opposed to putting a giant wall infront of the water and cutting it off, untill it starts overflowing
