i would say that this is definitely about nostalgia. wanting to be with someone you used to be with. it's been a while, but you're still waiting to get over them. at this point you've realized you won't get over them, but you'll never be with them again. it's too hard to get through to this person. you don't feel like you're enough of a priority to them.
