Seems self-explanatory, but I'll just mention that I saw Suzanne Vega last night and she explained how she had read in a book about Elizabeth Taylor how she was "a pornographer's dream". Suzanne Vega wondered what a pornographer really dreams about, since they are privy to more parts of a woman than most people are - literally. Since people tend to dream about/long for that which they cannot have, and pornographers actually get to realize that "hidden" sexuality within women, what is it they actually dream about? Is it something more? That is what the song expresses.
