Cover art for Desperation lyrics by Hawthorne Heights

I can't believe no has commented on this one. Come on people! Geez. Anyways, I love this song. I believe it's about Casey. But I guess if we think hard enough a lot of the songs off the new album seem to be about Casey, even though they weren't written for that purpose.

"Set my mind at ease I'm worried and upset My front door isn't open anymore I'll be living with regret"

He's upset because he didn't get to say goodbye or maybe he wanted to tell Casey something and he regrets it.

"So listen up And just let the music play If you listen hard enough You can hear me say This is the sound of desperation This is the sound of me wearing thin This is the sound of desperation This is the sound of me wearing thin"

I think it's talking about what I said earlier that if you think hard enough it'll seem like every song is about Casey, or about what it's done to the rest of them. They pain of losing their best friend.

"You've heard it all before Now you'll hear it all again I never said I would rather be dead but I thought about the end"

I think is about the coverage of Casey's death and how it was kind of everywhere, and that JT never said he wanted to die but he thought about death and how you don't have as long as you think. And Casey's death was a wake up call to them.

"Soon as its starting over and over The nights keep blending in The only way I can get through the day is to try to make ammends"

Every thing is a blur since Casey died. Everything is just running into each other. Casey was the goofball and now it's not the same being on the road or living for that matter. And now they are just trying to fix everything while they have a chance.

That's my opinion. Yours?
