I know this isn't the correct interpretation, but to me I look at this as the US against bin laden, we befriended him and trained him to fight against the Russians then he turned on evil, curropted by a doctrine that promotes death to everyone in the world doesn't follow that doctrine, including the muslims that are peaceful and don't support that doctrine. And now his last sin in ref. to 9/11 has brought him his destruction and need to run.
I started to think about something like that, only I pictured it from Osama bin Laden's (and possibly the rest of Al Qaeda's) perspective. The terrorists have certainly spent a lonely life planning the rest of humanity's destruction, and they believe that by killing "infidels", they do them a favor, or so I have heard or read. The "final sin" would be the United States' and other nations' tolerance and ethical treatment of all human demographics in addition to our practice of different religions, and the fact that they [Al Qaeda] would rather annihilate us than try to convert us....

By the way, how is that an incorrect interpretation?
