I absolutely love this song. I had no idea it was by Joanne Hogg. I was thinking a japanese woman sang it since it was in the Xenosaga OST.
But anyway, Kokoro means Spirit. Which doesn't really relate to the song to me.
I think its about a woman who's fallen in love with a man, but she's unable to tell him.
"and though I try/"I love you" is just so hard to say/If I only could be strong/and say the words I feel"
They're aware of their connection, but I think both of them are holding back
"now at last we can talk/in another way"
In the end though, she misses out and she never tells him. I guess he leaves and she regrets not being able to tell him that she loves him, but in the end she'll always remember him with memories of him.
