... Ignoring the fact that a 14 year old girl sung this... It's perfectly clear to me what she means. She met/ got to know a boy during the summer (the way it usually goes), things were great and I guess they live apart, so she doesn't get to see him as much as she'd like.
Reminds me alot of myself, heh. My first kiss with my girlfriend really did taste like strawberries, and she does live apart. I miss her more than anything, it's beautiful to hear a song so true to my own heart.
