I think this song deals with both, Rapture and House Carpenter respectively. In Rapture a man and a woman, more then likely not a married couple, have a child but it is a sin to the woman and she kills it because it is against God. House Carpenter deals with the womans suicide and how she is going to the "house carpenter"(jesus christ). The man is stuck there with his child and love dead. Summer's Lost deals with how his son is gone and how he is dealing with it, and how he hopes to see him after he is dead. The screaming near the end could indicate that the man had killed himself. Velvet Rolls Royce from The Consumaton could be a foreshadow to his sons death or it could take place somewhere between Rapture and Summers lost.
