Has anyone noticed that there are two people talking in a lot of the songs on this album?
In one verse it says " Hold my hand and check my pulse, revive me with just one touch" Who is this 'me' we are talking about? Is he speaking for himself, or is this the voice of the person that he will find on the floor?
Later on in the song, the lyric changes to " I hold your hand and check your pulse, you're already out cold on the floor." It seems as if the verse changed pronouns and is now reffering to him.
in retrospect is the song where she dies.
"Shes killing herself to sleep"
But,
The next song " the artificial" seems like he is pleading with the voice, albeit an artifical presence to come back to him. He speaks about how paths arent always pre determined and that does she realize what she is leaving behind....
But hey, its just my interpretation. There is probably much much more to it.
