From the lyrics it seems this song is about a relationship built on sex (has never been anything else), which this young boy, appearantly william since he's twenty three this year, has been dragged into. And it seems to him that the older woman underestimates him and she doesn't believe in the relationship at all. She's just in it for the sex and doesn't picture a future where he is involved.
He feels betrayed, even if he doesn't manage to convince himself that he regrets it. But still he sees where this is all going, she'll just continue to benefit on it while there is nothing in it for him, she takes him for granted and suddenly he's aware that she has had no reason not to until now.
