Generally - I think what we're supposed to take away from this is "life sucks, and no one cares about your problems".
I also enjoyed capitalisms theory, and i believe out of all of the ones i've read, it is certainly the most plausible. I also believe that the 2nd meaning of the song, which was the meaning intended to be perceived by the audience (as the real meaning was kept secret from the fans when the album was dropped), is supposed to be about them, and their struggle with rockstardom.
