Lyric discussion by OKRadiohead97

Only The Faint could make listeners feel like they're in the middle of the argument, yet loving it just the same with the music itself.

Pretty easy meaning - getting caught up in the rage of the argument, getting flustered, pretending like nothing ever happened, trying to take back what was said, trying to make things right.

I love the play on words in the line "But if you see it my way, we could both see it right." Seems like such an arrogant thing to say, but at the same time such a truth. Odd twist at the end of the song: the narrator finally experiences recognition, in that he knows his partner/girlfriend deserves more than a hothead like him.

One of my favorite songs on the album, I must say.
