the first few times, it sounds like he's saying "she used to love me", then it says "she still loves me" as if trying to tell himself that. like wanting there to be hope even when she's gone. hope that she'll come back to him.
i think he's saying "she is so lovely", not "she used to love me". at least thats what i'm hearing :)
