Reminds me of "Holiday in Cambodia" by Dead Kennedys.
Meaning to me: Someone that speaks of how they support an issue (...world hunger for example) but for self-empowering reasons. As soon as the next issue/cause comes along they switch energy to that issue. They are ambitious but to no end result.
