Just listenin (and reading the title) makes an obvious meaning of James being dumped. But i think there is th further meaning of not wanting people to find out she left him as if he was embarrased by it or something and wants people to think he left her, Just the way he sings 'Cause in honest truth i was gonna end it anyway...so no one find out she left me' just makes me think he was embarrsed by being dumped.
